It’s that time of the year when the skin feels dull and dry. The season is about to change and it also takes a toll on our skin making it lifeless. Today I would like to share some simple homemade packs which are very hydrating and makes the skin soft and radiant. Even I use some of these packs regularly during this time of the year and they work wonders for my skin.
Milk cream and Turmeric Pack
This is an age old recipe and has been passed on from generations. Take some fresh cream (malai) and mix it with a pinch of turmeric. Apply this pack on a cleansed face and leave it on for 30 minutes. Remove the pack by cleaning it with a cotton ball dipped in lukewarm water. This can be applied daily and continuous usage improves the complexion and texture of facial skin.
Banana and Honey Pack
Mash a ripe banana add a tablespoon of honey to it. Now blend this mixture to a smooth paste and apply it on your face and neck. Keep it on for 20 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water.
Strawberry and Yogurt Pack
Mash some ripe strawberries as per the amount needed and mix it with a tablespoon of plain yogurt. Apply this pack to your face and wash it off after 15-20 minutes. This pack instantly brightens up the skin and makes it soft and supple. It also removes the dead skin layer and evens out the complexion.
Aloe Vera Pack
Scrape the gel out of a Aloe Vera leaf and apply this directly to the face. Wash it off after 15 minutes. Regular application of aloe gel will improve your complexion and reduce the skin pigmentation.
Papaya and Honey Pack
Mash some pieces of ripe papaya and mix it with honey to make a smooth paste. Apply this pack to your face and wash it off after 20 minutes. Papaya is rich in anti-oxidants, nutrients and minerals which is very good for the skin and gives it a healthy glow.
Almond, Honey and Milk Pack
Soak some almond overnight and in the morning grind them to make a smooth paste. Now take equal quantity of honey and milk and mix them thoroughly. Apply this to the face and neck and rinse off after 15 minutes.
